Product details

The Hayward Local Display for OmniLogic, HLX-LOC-DSP is the replacement Local Terminal, a touchscreen, for the Hayward OmniLogic pool controller. It is a Brand OEM Hayward part and the on-site interface at the OmniLogic panel.

What it is

Hayward's installation manual describes the HLX-LOC-DSP as a replacement Local Terminal (touchscreen) for the OmniLogic controller. It seats on top of the mount on the OmniLogic Main Board and connects by a ribbon cable. This listing is the local display only. It does not include the OmniLogic control panel, its circuit boards or any wiring.

Installing it

The terminal sits beneath the panel's dead front, and Hayward's manual warns that power to the entire OmniLogic panel must be shut off before the dead front is removed. Unplug the ribbon cable, pull the old terminal straight out of its mount (hold the mount down so it stays attached to the Main Board), set the HLX-LOC-DSP on top of the mount, plug the ribbon cable back in, replace the dead front and power up. Confirm that the terminal is fully functional and secure.
