The Hayward GLX-TROL-TIMER is the 24 hour replacement timer for Hayward AquaTrol above ground salt chlorinators, a Grasslin FM/1 STUZH-120 rated 120V at 60 Hz. It is the Brand OEM part, sold one timer per carton.

What it does

Hayward describes the AquaTrol as having an integral 24 hour timer that controls the filter pump. The pump plugs into a timer controlled outlet on the unit, and the unit plugs into the outlet the pump used before. The schedule allows multiple pump run periods per day in 15 minute steps, and a manual ON-Auto-OFF switch overrides it. When the pump stops following its schedule, runs around the clock or never starts, the timer is the first part to check.

Fit

Hayward lists GLX-TROL-TIMER as a related part on its AquaTrol return jet and hose/pipe models, in both straight blade and twist lock versions. The AquaTrol is designed for above ground pools up to 18,000 gallons.
