The Confer Plastics 6000EXT is the extension for the 6000X in-pool ladder. It is an accessory, not a ladder, and it exists for one job: adding height when the deck is taller than the 6000X reaches on its own.

When you need it

The 6000X covers a range of deck heights out of the box. Above that range the ladder is simply too short, and the fix is the extension rather than a different ladder. Confer describes the extension as taking the ladder to approximately 68 inches.
