The S.R. Smith LTDF-103 is a 20 inch Elite replacement tread in 304 stainless steel. It measures 3 inches deep with an 18-1/4 inch centerline mounting distance, and it is supplied as the tread alone, without hardware.
Why 304 stainless
A ladder step lives half in chlorinated water and half in the weather, and it carries the whole weight of anyone getting out of the pool. S.R. Smith builds Elite treads in 304 stainless for that combination, and it is what the ladder was originally fitted with.
One step at a time
Treads fail one at a time. A step gets bent, or corrosion starts at a fastener, and there is no reason to replace an entire ladder over it. Ordering a single tread puts the ladder back into service, and S.R. Smith lists step bolt packs and Elite tread end caps as separate parts if those need replacing too.
Measure first
Check the centerline spacing between the mounting points on your ladder against the 18-1/4 inch figure, and confirm the tread width, before ordering. Elite treads are also sold in 2, 3 and 4 step kits, and those kits are the versions that arrive with hardware.
