Product details

The SuperPro 25562-000-000 is a heavy duty plastic replacement tread for Econoline style pool ladders. It is the step itself, sold on its own so a single cracked or flexing tread does not force you to replace a whole ladder.

Check the measurements first

The listing describes it as a 19 inch tread and gives overall dimensions of 3 inches deep by 18-5/16 inches wide, with a 17-1/4 inch center line mounting distance. That center line figure is the one that matters. Measure between the mounting holes on your existing tread and compare before ordering, because ladder treads that are close in nominal size often differ in mounting centers.

What is not included

No hardware comes with the tread. If the original bolts, nuts and washers are sound, reuse them. If they are corroded, replace them with stainless at the same time, since a tread is only as safe as the fasteners holding it.

Duty rating

It is recommended for residential ladders. A tread that is flexing underfoot or showing stress cracks around the bolt holes should come out immediately rather than at the end of the season.
