Product details

The Hammerhead HH1125 is the 24 inch long bungee cord used on Hammerhead pool vacuums. It is the factory replacement for a strap that has stretched out or broken.

Why it wears out

A bungee cord is elastic wrapped in fabric, and it spends its life in chlorinated water and direct sun. Both attack it. The cord goes slack first, then the fabric frays where the hooks sit, and at that point it is no longer holding anything under tension even though it still looks intact.

Getting the right one

This is the long cord at 24 inches. Hammerhead builds the strap to a length, so measure or check the part number on the one you are taking off before ordering. Fitting takes no tools.
