The FeherGuard Horizon Ventures HV-28 is an above ground solar cover reel system for pools up to 28 feet. It is built around a telescopic tube so one reel adapts to a range of pool widths instead of forcing you to match an exact measurement.

Built for both pool shapes

The system is designed for round and oval above ground pools, which is the difference between a reel that suits your pool and one that does not. The tube is 4 inch diameter extruded aluminum, a size chosen so a wide blanket does not bow the tube in the middle. Thin tubes sag under a wet cover and eventually stay bent.

Getting it off the pool

The swivel ends pivot or lift out of the way, so the reel does not have to be carried away every time somebody wants to swim. The manufacturer describes the system as portable and easy to remove.
