Product details

The Infusion VRFTHDG is a venturi driven return line inlet fitting in dark gray. It replaces the standard fitting in the pool return.

What changes

A plain return fitting drops water into the pool a foot or two from the wall. A venturi fitting shapes that same flow into a faster, longer stream, and because it is directional you can aim it. The practical result is that sediment along the side walls and on the floor gets stirred rather than left to settle, and sanitizer travels into the parts of the pool that circulation normally misses.

Why installers use them

Better circulation does more of the work that would otherwise fall to brushing, vacuuming and extra chemicals. The upgrade happens at the wall, with no change to the pump or the plumbing behind it.

What does a venturi return fitting actually do?
It narrows and shapes the outlet so the water leaving the return moves faster and further into the pool. That extra reach is what lifts sediment off the walls and floor and pushes sanitizer into corners that would otherwise sit still.
Does it need a bigger pump?
No. The fitting works with the flow the system already produces. It changes what happens at the return, not at the pump.
