J&J Electronics PureWhite LED Pool Light XI Series, 12V Cool White 600W 50' Cord, LPL-F5W-12-50-P, 21068

The J&J Electronics 21068 is a PureWhite LED pool light from the XI Series, model LPL-F5W-12-50-P. It runs on 12V, comes with a 50 foot cord and is the cool white version at 6500K.

Output and efficiency

The F5W series draws 87 watts and delivers 4500 lumens, roughly the light a 600W incandescent gave for a fraction of the power. J&J rates the LED engine at 50,000 hours, and the range covers other outputs as well: the F3W at 58 watts and 3900 lumens for a 500W equivalent, the F1W at 39 watts and 2400 lumens for a 300W equivalent, and the S1W spa model at 13 watts and 700 lumens.

Construction

The fixture is built from heavy gauge 316L stainless steel and carries a three year limited warranty. The Zero-Pixilation lens system spreads the LED output evenly, so the pool reads as one pool of light rather than a cluster of bright points. The fixture is tested and approved for swimming pool use by Intertek ETL.

Choosing the version

PureWhite fixtures come in two color temperatures and several cord lengths, at either 120V or 12V. This one is 12V, cool white, with a 50 foot cord, so confirm your transformer and the run back to the junction box before ordering.
