Product details

The Polaris LYNX is a premium suction side automatic cleaner for inground pools. It runs on the suction the pool pump already provides, so there is no booster pump to add.

What HALO does

The LYNX is built around Polaris HALO technology, which is what gives it its grip on the two kinds of debris cleaners usually trade off against each other. It captures fine sand and silt, the material that a coarse cleaner just pushes around, and it also handles long, stringy debris such as leaves and fibrous material.

Scrubbing, not only vacuuming

Fine dirt does not always lift on suction alone. The LYNX uses an active scrubbing system with spinning brushes that work the surface first, loosening the film and the stuck on debris so it can be picked up. Those brushes are replaceable, which matters because they are the part that wears.

Does the LYNX need a booster pump?
No. It is a suction side cleaner, so it runs on the suction the pool pump already produces.
Will it pick up fine sand and silt?
That is what the HALO technology is there for. Polaris built it to capture fine sand and silt as well as long, stringy debris such as leaves and fibrous material.
What do the brushes do?
They are an active scrubbing system. The spinning brushes loosen fine and stuck on debris from pool surfaces so the cleaner can take it up, and they are replaceable when they wear.
Is it for aboveground pools?
No. It is designed for inground pools.
