Product details

The U.S. Seal BC-270 is a motor start capacitor rated 270 to 324 MFD at 125V.

What it does

A start capacitor is switched into a single-phase motor circuit only briefly, at the moment the motor starts, to provide the extra torque needed to get the motor turning. Once the motor is running, the start capacitor drops out of the circuit. The BC-270 is rated for up to 20 starts per hour.
