The U.S. Seal PS-601 is a replacement shaft seal assembly for a 3/4 inch pump shaft. It is sold as a seal that fits a number of pool pumps rather than as a single model part.
Check it by measurement
Seals are matched by dimension, not by pump name. This one takes a 3/4 inch shaft, measures 1-9/16 inch across the seal outside diameter, and its mating ring is 1-3/8 inch in diameter by 13/32 inch thick. Compare those against the seal you pull out and you will know whether it is the right part.
The failure it fixes
The shaft seal is what keeps pump water from following the shaft back into the motor. When it fails you get water weeping from between the seal plate and the motor, and left long enough that water finds the motor bearings. Replace the seal whenever the wet end is opened, since a seal that has been removed will not reseat properly.
Salt and ozone pools
An extra heavy duty version of the same 3/4 inch seal is stocked separately for saltwater and ozone systems, which are harder on seal materials.
