Product details

The Pool Cover Specialists TP2500 is a wireless, touch sensitive key pad supplied as a full assembly, used to operate PCS automatic pool covers.

No moving parts

The buttons are touch sensitive rather than mechanical, and the body is sealed. That combination is what gives a control mounted outdoors a long life: there is no switch plunger to wear, no seam for water to work into and nothing to seize after a winter.

Wireless, with access control

The pad communicates with the cover system wirelessly, so installation is a matter of mounting and setting up the antenna rather than pulling a control cable. It arrives with a default access code and supports customized user settings, which is how you keep the cover from being operated by anyone who happens to walk up to the pad.

Mounting

Fit it within sight of the pool. An automatic cover should be watched through its full travel, and the pad belongs where whoever presses the button can see the water.

No. It is a wireless key pad, with an antenna setup as part of the installation.
Which cover systems does it work with?
It is listed as compatible with PCS 2009 cover systems.
Where should it be mounted?
Within sight of the pool. Watching the cover as it travels is part of operating an automatic cover safely, so the pad goes where the operator can see the water.
