Fiberstars Y20-6000 is the lamp assembly for the 6000 series fiber optic pool illuminator. It is listed against the 6004, 6008 and 6004-AS illuminators.

How the system works

A fiber optic pool lighting system has one light source. The illuminator sits at the equipment pad and its lamp feeds every fiber run out to the pool, the spa and the deck. Nothing electrical goes near the water.

When to change it

Because one lamp lights everything, the whole installation fades together. If the fiber ends have gone dim or the color has lost its depth across the board, the lamp in the illuminator is the place to start.
