The Fiberstars HI-111 is a 250 watt, 24 volt halogen bulb, manufactured by Ushio. It is the replacement lamp for Fiberstars lighting that uses this bulb.
Ratings matter
This lamp is 250 watts at 24 volts. Both numbers have to match your fixture. A lamp of the right physical shape but the wrong voltage either runs dim and useless or burns out fast, so check the rating on the old bulb or the illuminator before ordering.
Why output falls off
Halogen lamps dim gradually across their life rather than simply failing, so lighting that has quietly become disappointing is often just a tired bulb rather than a fault in the system. Fitting a fresh one restores the original output.
