Product details

The Hayward LTBUY11H70 is a 70 watt junction box transformer. It converts a 120 volt pool lighting system to low voltage as a retrofit at the existing J-Box.

Why retrofit at the J-Box

Moving a pool light from line voltage to low voltage normally means new wiring from the panel. Doing the conversion at the junction box instead keeps the existing run in place and puts the transformer where the light already lands, which is what makes this a practical upgrade on a finished pool.

Before ordering

Check two things: the 70 watt rating against the fixture you plan to run, and the junction box you have. Hayward lists this retrofit for the most popular J-Boxes, and confirming yours is on that list is quicker than finding out at the pool.
