Product details

The Hayward LFGUY1000 is the large underwater pool light niche for Universal ColorLogic and Universal CrystaLogic fixtures, in the version for concrete pools.

What a niche does

The niche is the shell that sits in the pool wall and holds the light. Conduit lands on the back of it, the fixture drops into the front, and the whole assembly is what keeps water out of the wiring. It carries no electronics of its own.

Concrete only

This is the concrete version. Vinyl liner and fiberglass pools use a different niche with a different sealing arrangement, so match the niche to how the pool is built rather than to the light.

What you also need

The fixture is separate. Order the Universal ColorLogic or Universal CrystaLogic light to suit the pool, and plan the niche into the shell work, since it is set as the wall goes up rather than fitted afterward.
