Product details

The Hayward BPCUS11120 is a 120V ColorLogic color LED bulb that turns a standard incandescent pool light into a color changing LED one. It is UL listed and comes with 10 fixed colors and 7 color changing light shows.

A retrofit, not a rebuild

The bulb screws into the existing fixture. There is no rewiring and no replacing the housing, which is what makes this the cheapest route to color in an older pool. It suits Hayward AstroLite and DuraLite housings and most 300 to 500 watt 120V incandescent pool fixtures.

Running cost

The R40 LED format draws 92 percent less energy than the incandescent bulb it replaces and is rated for ten times the life, so the savings show up on the power bill and in how rarely the light has to come out of the niche.

With Hayward automation

Paired with a Hayward Omni system, the bulb runs in OmniDirect Mode. That adds 10 more colors, dimming, control over how fast the shows run, and the ability to jump straight to a color instead of cycling through to reach it.
