The Dolphin Nautilus CC Pro is Maytronics robotic cleaner with WiFi, part number 99996207-PCI. It is a plug and play unit: connect the power supply, put it in the water and it works the pool on its own.

How it cleans

The cleaner scans and maps the pool, then works a pattern that covers the floor, climbs the walls and takes in the waterline. Dual scrubbing brushes do the work at the surface, loosening dirt, film and algae so the vacuum can pull it in. That active brushing is the difference between a cleaner that lifts loose debris and one that actually cleans tile.

Filter and handling

Debris collects in a top load filter basket that lifts straight out of the top of the unit, so emptying it is a two minute job and does not involve turning a wet cleaner upside down. The unit weighs 16.5 lb and has a top handle and quick release latches, so getting it out of the water does not need tools.

Control

WiFi puts the cleaner on a smartphone app for starting and monitoring cycles remotely, and a timer runs the cleaner on a repeating schedule if you would rather set it once and leave it.
