How it works

An in-floor cleaning system feeds water to heads set into the pool floor, and each head sweeps a section of the surface as it cycles. The orifice, 7/16 inch on this head, sets how much water passes through, and the nozzle height, 3/4 inch, sets how the stream leaves the head. Those two numbers are what determine the sweep, which is why heads are sold by style and flow rather than as one universal part.
