Product details

The Pentair 219800 is the union kit for the LeafVac, supplied with its O-ring. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Where it sits

The union is the connection between the LeafVac canister and the hose run. It is handled every time the canister is opened to dump leaves, which is exactly why it is the part that wears: threads get cross started, the sealing face gets scratched, and the O-ring flattens.

The symptom

A leaking union does not usually drip, it draws air. The result is a cleaner that has lost its pull for no obvious reason while the pump and the filter both look fine. Replacing the union and its seal restores a tight joint.
