Product details

This is the LeafVac lid assembly, part number 540189, the replacement lid for the A&A LeafVac debris canister.

Why the lid matters

The LeafVac only works while it is sealed. The lid holds the vacuum in the line so leaves and debris are drawn into the canister and held there. Once the lid is cracked, warped or no longer clamping flat, the canister loses suction and debris carries on toward the pump basket instead.

Does the o-ring come with the lid?
No. The lid o-ring is sold as its own part. Order one alongside if the old seal is flat or split.
Why do I see two part numbers for this lid?

What does the lid do?
It closes the LeafVac canister so the line holds suction and leaves stay in the basket instead of going through to the pump.
