This is the Paramount head removal tool for PV3 nozzles, part 004-627-5452-00, with a plastic handle. It also removes a Pool Valet Professional nozzle.

What it is for

In floor cleaning nozzles sit down in their floor fittings and are not designed to be pulled out by hand. Servicing one means lifting it to clear debris, check the bearing action or swap it for a new head, and the tool is what lets you grip and turn the nozzle without chewing up the head or the fitting around it.

One tool covers every PV3 head in the pool, so it is a buy once item for anyone maintaining a Paramount in floor system. The PCC2000 step nozzle uses a different Paramount tool.
