Product details

The Hayward Paramount 004627506001 is a PV3 nozzle supplied with its twist lock cap, in white.

What it does

In-floor cleaning systems work by sending water to a set of pop up heads in sequence. Each head rises, sweeps its arc, and drops back flush with the floor. The nozzle is the part doing that work, and it is the part that wears.

When to change one

If a head stops rising, sticks part way up, or no longer turns, the section of floor it was covering will start holding debris while the rest of the pool stays clean. That localised pattern is the usual sign that a single nozzle is due rather than anything wrong with the system as a whole.

Finish

This is the white version. Paramount lists other colors under different part numbers, so match the number to the finish you need.

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does the twist lock cap come with it?
Yes. This listing is the PV3 nozzle supplied with its twist lock cap.
What color is it?
White.
Which system does it belong to?
The Paramount PV3 in-floor cleaning head family, now sold under Hayward.
Why would a nozzle need replacing?
In-floor heads cycle up and down thousands of times a season and run in a grit laden environment. When one stops popping up or stops rotating, the area of floor it covers is the first place debris collects.
