Product details
Perma Pool Patch from CGM Inc is a fast setting, high strength white mortar supplied in a 50 lb bag, part number 50PL. It is made to be applied under water.
No draining
The reason to reach for this material is that the repair can be made with the pool still full. The mix sets under water, so a crack, chip or hole in a concrete pool can be dealt with without the cost, the risk and the hassle of dropping the water. It works just as well on out of water repairs.
Strength and bonding
The mix is twice as strong as ordinary cement with three times the bonding power. It bonds to old and new concrete, masonry and metal, and it is formulated for the surfaces a pool is actually made of: concrete, plaster and gunite.
Using it
Add water, mix and apply. Nothing else is needed. Pigment can be worked into the mix if you want the patch to sit closer to the color of the surrounding finish.
