Product details

Gladon AG100 Waveless wall foam is a 100 foot roll, 48 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick, in blue, at the number 2 density. It is fitted to the inside of an above ground pool wall before the liner goes in.

What it does for the liner

A bare steel wall is not a friendly surface for vinyl. Seams, rivets, rust spots and dents all print through, and every knock from inside the pool lands on metal. A layer of wall foam puts something soft between the two, so the wall reads as smooth from the water side and the liner takes a gentler life.

Fitting it

Wall foam goes in during a liner change or a new build, while the wall is open and clean. Measure the circumference of the pool first and compare it against the 100 foot roll length, since a larger pool may need more than one roll and running short partway around is a bad place to stop.

Where does wall foam go?
Against the inside of the steel wall, behind the liner, so the vinyl rests on foam rather than directly on metal. It is fitted while the pool is open, before the liner goes in.
Will one roll do my pool?
Measure the circumference of your pool wall and compare it to the 100 foot length. A large round or oval pool can need more than one roll, so work the number out before you start rather than partway through the job.
