Deck-O-Seal HS-1 SL is a one-part, self-leveling joint sealant built on silyl-modified polymer (SMP) technology. It comes in a 32 oz (one quart) container in tan, and this listing is for that size and color.

How it works

Because it is one-part there is nothing to mix. Pour it into a horizontal joint and it levels itself to a flat finish, then cures by reacting with moisture in the air. The result is a medium modulus sealant: firm enough to hold its shape and bond, flexible enough to move with the joint as the slab expands and contracts through the seasons.

Made for the outdoors

The formulation is designed for strong adhesion and for resistance to aging and weathering, which is what a pool deck joint sees year round: sun, water, chemicals and temperature swings.

Do I have to mix it before use?
No. HS-1 SL is a one-part sealant. It comes ready to pour and cures on its own by reacting with moisture in the air.
What kind of joints is it for?
It is self-leveling, so it is meant for horizontal joints where it can flow out level on its own, such as deck expansion joints. Vertical or sloped joints need a non-sag formula instead.
How long does it take to cure?
The facts sheet does not give a cure time. It is a moisture cure product, so cure speed depends on temperature and humidity. Follow the Deck-O-Seal instructions on the container.
Can I return it if I order the wrong color?
No. Like all chemical products it is non-returnable and non-refundable once it leaves the warehouse, so confirm the tan color and the 32 oz size before ordering.
