Pour grade means self leveling
Once mixed, the sealant flows out and finds its own level in a horizontal joint. That gives a flat, even finish without tooling, which is exactly what you want along the line between coping and deck. Because it levels, it belongs in horizontal joints. A vertical joint needs a non sag grade instead.
Why polysulfide around a pool
