Deck-O-Seal 4705013 is the One-Step sealing compound in tan, an 11 ounce tube of single component, polysulfide based sealant.

What it is for

Joints around a pool deck are not static. Concrete grows and shrinks with the temperature, and the gap between slabs, or between deck and coping, changes width all year. A rigid filler cracks away from one edge within a season. This compound is elastomeric, so it stretches and recovers with the joint instead of failing at the bond line.

Working with it

Being single component means there is no mixing and no pot life to race. The non-sag formula holds its tooled shape, so it can be used in a vertical or sloped joint without slumping while it cures.

Do I have to mix it?
No. One-Step is a single component compound, so it is ready to use out of the tube.
Will it run out of a vertical joint?
No. It is a non-sag formula, which means it stays where it is tooled rather than slumping while it cures.
Why not use ordinary caulk?
Deck joints move with temperature. This is an elastomeric polysulfide sealant made for exactly that, so it flexes with the joint instead of splitting away from the edge the first cold night.
Can I return it if I order the wrong color?
No. Chemical products are non-returnable and non-refundable. Because of safety regulations and quality assurance standards, chemicals that have left our facility cannot be restocked or resold, so check the color and the size before you order.
