Product details

Deck-O-Seal 4710100 is an empty squeeze applicator bottle packed with a wood stir stick. It is the tool kit for the 24 oz Deck-O-Seal Pour Grade sealants, which, unlike the 96 oz kits, come without a bottle or paddle.

How it is used

Stir the setting agent into the base slowly for at least 10 minutes until the color is even, pour the mixed sealant into the bottle, and squeeze a steady bead into the joint. Pour Grade levels itself, so the bottle only has to fill the joint to the right height between the masking tape.

Good to know

The bottle ships empty. It suits the pourable sealants; Gun Grade is too stiff for a squeeze bottle and goes on with a caulking gun or knife. A spare bottle is handy on a long job with 96 oz kits, so one can be refilled while the other is in use.

Do I need this bottle?
If you are using a 24 oz Pour Grade kit, yes: the 24 oz kits do not include an applicator. The 96 oz kits already come with a squeeze bottle and a stirring paddle.
Does the bottle come filled?
No. The 4710100 is an empty bottle and a wood stir stick. The sealant is a separate kit.
Can I use it with Gun Grade?
Gun Grade is a thick paste applied with a caulking gun, putty knife or trowel, so a squeeze bottle is not the right tool for it.
How long should I stir?
Deck-O-Seal calls for at least 10 minutes of slow mixing, scraping the sides and bottom until the color is uniform, and no air whipped in.
