Product details

Deck-O-Seal 4701022 is a gray, pour grade joint sealant supplied in a 24 ounce unit. It is a two part, polysulfide based, self leveling formula for sealing joints and cracks, including the deck area around a swimming pool.

Pour grade means self leveling

A gun grade sealant holds its shape and has to be tooled. A pour grade one does not. It is mixed and poured into the joint, then flows out and settles flat by itself, which is what you want in a horizontal deck joint that people walk on and look at every day.

Working with a two part sealant

The two components cure once they are combined, so the working time starts at mixing. Have the joint cleaned out, dry and backed correctly before you mix, and plan the pour so a run is finished in one session rather than in patches.
