Deck-O-Seal Deck-O-Shield Waterfall & Stone Sealer, 5 Gallon

Deck-O-Shield is a water-based, ready to use water repellent sealer from Deck-O-Seal for the stone and concrete around a swimming pool. This is the 5 gallon size, part 3460005, enough for a full waterfall and deck job.

Where to use it

It is made for natural stone, concrete and masonry, with waterfalls the headline use. It works just as well on natural stone decks, coping, walkways and patios. Once treated, a surface inhibits salt from penetrating, which reduces the whitening and staining that salt water leaves on stone. The finish is matte, so the stone keeps its natural look.

Coverage

Coverage varies a lot with the porosity of the substrate. Expect 75 to 175 sq ft per gallon on natural stone, 100 to 175 on concrete and masonry, 60 to 100 on stucco and 50 to 100 on concrete block. Very porous stone and block can take considerably more and may need an extra application, so always seal a test area first to find your real rate.

Chemical products are non-returnable and non-refundable. Once they leave the warehouse they cannot be restocked or resold, so measure your area before you order. A 1 gallon size is available for smaller jobs.
