The Aqua Creek Ranger 2 F-RNGR2-T is a 350 lb battery powered ADA compliant pool lift for in-ground pools that mounts on a deck anchor, sold here without the anchor. It is a UL certified Pro Pool series lift with a white frame and a tan seat. The manufacturer points to smaller hotel and motel pools, and it also suits a backyard pool.

Fit

The Ranger 2 has a loading setback of 14.5 to 19 in. from the pool edge and a 14 in. water draft. It does not rotate: the user sits parallel to the pool side and moves out and down in one motion. The anchor goes in before the lift and is bought separately: F-04CAJP standard concrete, F-08CAJP 8 in., F-40220-AT1 wood deck, or a quick attach anchor. The manual's ADA layout asks for a clear deck space 36 in. wide by 48 in. long beside the raised seat. The application graph chart shows whether the lift reaches the water at your deck.

Power and operation

A 24 V rechargeable battery runs the lift, with a wall mount charger and a 2 button handset for the user. After assembly, run the lift out and back 3 to 5 times with no load. The lift is field reversible and comes with a seat belt and an ADA lift sign.

In the box and warranty

The anchor is not part of this listing. Aqua Creek gives a limited five year warranty. Electrical parts, including the linear actuator, are covered in full in years 1 and 2, then at 60, 50 and 40 percent in years 3, 4 and 5.

The anchor is a separate purchase, and the application graph chart for the model confirms the lift reaches the water before the lift ships.

Does the Aqua Creek Ranger 2 F-RNGR2-T come with an anchor?
No. It is sold without an anchor. The manual lists the F-04CAJP standard anchor, the F-08CAJP 8 in. anchor, the F-40220-AT1 wood deck anchor and a quick attach anchor, and the anchor has to be installed before the lift.
Can one person run the Ranger 2 alone?
Yes. The manufacturer designed it to be run by the user, with a 2 button handset that controls the lift. A 24 V battery powers it, and the manual calls for 3 to 5 empty cycles after install to break it in.
What setback and water draft does the Ranger 2 have?
The loading setback is 14.5 to 19 in. from the pool edge, and the water draft is 14 in. It does not rotate, so it suits a flat deck beside the pool.
How long does the Ranger 2 battery last, and where should it be kept?
A good, fully charged battery should complete at least 15 empty cycles in the manual's test. When the lift is not in use, keep the battery on its wall mount charger.
