Product details

The S.R. Smith Splash lift package 390-0000 is a 400 lb battery powered ADA compliant pool lift in Radiant White, sold as a package with a protective mast cover and a Caddy and supplied with its deck anchor socket.

The Splash is the manufacturer's semi-portable lift: it is operated from a fixed deck anchor, and the Caddy lifts it out of the socket and serves as a storage rack when the lift is not needed. A third party has tested and verified the series as ADA compliant under section 1009.2 of the 2010 guidelines. This listing carries the California Package designation.

Fit

The stainless steel anchor socket and cover come with the lift. The manufacturer sets the socket 12 to 18 in. back from the pool edge, and a completed Deck Profile Sheet is required with the order so the lift can be checked against your deck and water level.

Power and operation

A 24 V rechargeable battery runs the LiftOperator Intelligent Controller, and a waterproof hand control allows the rider to operate the lift alone. The seat turns 344 degrees. A charged battery covers about 30 to 40 lifting cycles, with up to 12 hours to recharge.

The package holds the lift with its armrests, a battery and charger, a cover for the battery console, the waterproof control and the anchor socket with its cover. The footrest, a seat belt assembly, the mast cover and the Caddy complete it.

S.R. Smith states the warranty as 5 years on the frame (powder coat excluded), 2 years on the electronics and motor (battery excluded), and 1 year on the battery, prorated. California installations need the CEC compliant BC version of the battery, charger and control box, which are not interchangeable with the standard parts.

The anchor socket is already in the package, and the Deck Profile Sheet confirms the lift reaches the water before it ships.

What is in the Splash package 390-0000?
It is the Splash lift with armrests bundled with a protective mast cover and a Caddy. Beyond the cover and Caddy, the lift carries its own battery and charger, console cover, waterproof control, anchor socket, footrest and seat belt.
Does it include the deck anchor?
Yes, the stainless steel anchor socket and its cover are supplied. S.R. Smith still wants a completed Deck Profile Sheet with the order.
How many lifts will one charge cover?
About 30 to 40 lifting cycles on a charged battery, depending on rider weight. A full charge takes up to 12 hours.
Is this lift ADA compliant?
Yes. An outside party has verified the Splash series against section 1009.2 of the 2010 ADA guidelines, and this version lifts up to 400 lb.
