Swim Best 3 inch chlorine tablets come in a 50 lb bucket, roughly 100 tablets at 8 oz each. They are hard pressed trichlor tabs, listed as 99% Trichloro-S-Triazinetrione with 90% available chlorine.

How they feed

These are made for erosion type chlorine tablet feeders and floaters. Hard pressed tablets dissolve slowly and hold a constant chlorine feed rate, which is what keeps a pool at a steady level instead of swinging between shocked and empty. Because they are stabilized, the chlorine is protected from the ultraviolet rays of the sun and does not burn off in an afternoon.

Dosing

Figure one tablet per 8,000 gallons of pool water, or as needed to maintain your chlorine level, added every 7 to 14 days depending on water condition, bather load and weather. Run circulation 8 to 10 hours so the feed distributes.

Where they can be used

Listed for concrete, colored plaster and painted pools, inground vinyl liner pools and aboveground pools. Feed them through a floater or feeder rather than tossing them into the pool, since a tablet resting on a liner or on plaster will bleach and damage the surface underneath it.
