This is a 4 foot section of clear automatic pool cleaner vac hose, part number APC204C. It is a universal section listed for the Hayward® Navigator, Pool Vac Ultra and AquaBug.

How cleaner hose works

A suction cleaner hose is built from sections rather than supplied as one length. Each section has a female end and a male end, so they chain together and you make the run as long as the pool needs. That also means a single split section can be swapped out rather than replacing the whole hose.

Construction

The wall is heavy duty and corrugated, which is what keeps the hose open under suction rather than letting it flatten. UV inhibitors in the plastic slow the hardening that eventually cracks hose left in a sunlit pool.
