Product details

The Oreq VH3250 is a Master Flex pool vacuum hose, 1-1/2 inch in diameter and 50 feet long, finished in lime green with a swivel cuff on one end.

The swivel cuff

Vacuuming a pool means walking the head back and forth in long passes, and every pass puts a half turn into a fixed hose. Fifteen minutes in, an ordinary hose is a coiled spring that lifts the head off the floor. The swivel cuff breaks that link: the head turns, the hose does not.

Sizing

1-1/2 inch is the standard bore for residential vacuum heads and skimmer vacuum plates, and 50 feet reaches the far wall of most backyard pools from the skimmer. If your pool is on the larger side, measure the longest run you will need before ordering.

The lime green finish is not just cosmetic. A bright hose is easy to spot in the water, and easy to see on a wet deck.

What size is this hose?

What does the swivel cuff do?

It lets one end of the hose rotate independently of the rest. As you sweep the vacuum head back and forth the hose stays where it is instead of twisting into a coil.

Which end has the swivel?

Will it reach my whole pool?
