Product details

The Oreq VH3240 is a 1-1/2 inch by 40 foot Master Flex vacuum hose for manual pool vacuuming. It is spiral formed with an inner and an outer core, so the wall is heavier than a budget hose of the same diameter.

The swivel cuff

One end carries a swivel cuff. As you push a vacuum head back and forth across the floor, a fixed hose winds up on itself and starts pulling the head off line. The swivel lets the cuff rotate with the head instead, which keeps the run of hose straight and keeps kinks from forming at the connection.

Handling and wear

The exterior has a flat profile rather than a deep rib. Less of the hose stands proud, so there is less to catch on ladders, steps, corners and coping when you drag it around the deck, and less to nick. The 40 foot length covers most residential pools from one skimmer or dedicated vacuum port.

What size is this hose?
It is 1-1/2 inch diameter and 40 feet long, the standard residential manual vacuum hose size.
What does the swivel cuff do?
It lets the hose rotate independently of the vacuum head. Without a swivel the hose winds up on itself as you push the head around, and you end up fighting the twist.
Is one end different from the other?
The swivel cuff is the feature called out for this hose. Fit the swivel end to the vacuum head so the head can turn freely.
Why is the outside flat?
