Quick overview

  • Small by design The 12 inch head is meant for spas, fountains and ponds, where a full size rake will not maneuver.
  • Removable bag The standard bag comes off for easy replacement, so the frame outlives the netting.
  • Reaches tight spots Gets into corners and around fittings that a wide rake cannot work into.
  • Standard pole fit Works with standard pool poles, so no special handle is needed.
  • Everyday debris Built for the routine load of leaves and floating debris rather than for heavy storm cleanup.
  • Stinger line Part of the Oreq Stinger range of hand tools, part number LN4045.

Product details

The Oreq Stinger LN4045 is a mini leaf rake with a 12 inch standard bag. The size is the point: it is built for spas, fountains and ponds, and for the tight corners of a pool where a full width rake will not fit.

Where it earns its keep

A standard pool rake is too wide to work a spa or a small water feature, and trying to use one usually just pushes debris around. A 12 inch head turns in the space it has, gets in behind fittings and along steps, and lifts everyday leaves and floating debris out instead of chasing them.

Bag and handle

The standard bag is removable, so when the netting eventually gives out the frame stays in service and only the bag is replaced. It fits standard pool poles, so it goes straight onto the handle already in the shed.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

How wide is the head?
12 inches, which is what makes it workable in a spa or a fountain where a full size pool rake is too wide.
Can the bag be replaced?
Yes. The standard bag is removable, so a torn bag does not mean a new rake.
Does it fit my pool pole?
It is made for standard pool poles.
Is it big enough for a full size pool?
It is not intended as a main pool rake. The 12 inch head is for spas, fountains, ponds and tight spots, and a larger rake is the right tool for open water.
