Product details

The Purity Pool RBTD Red Baron Tuff Duty is a leaf rake built for pools with a genuine leaf problem, not for occasional skimming. It pairs a high capacity bag with an extra wide mouth.

Capacity and reach

A wide mouth takes in more water per pass and swallows debris that a narrow net pushes around. The deep, high capacity bag then holds the load, which is the difference between one pass around the pool and half a dozen trips to the trash can. On a pool under trees in fall, that is most of the job.

Built to be repaired

Both the net and the lip are replaceable. The lip is what scrapes across the pool floor and it wears first, so being able to renew it keeps a good frame in service for years. Purity Pool offers a renew kit for the Red Baron net, which is why service techs tend to keep buying the same rake.
