The Skimlite Spartan SP300 is a leaf rake fitted with a fine mesh bag. It keeps the shape of a conventional rake and adds a leading edge that runs around the entirety of the frame rather than across the front alone.
Why fine mesh
A coarse net picks up leaves and lets everything smaller drift back down. Fine mesh holds pollen, seed pods and fine silt as well, which is the difference between a pool that looks clean and one that stays clean between vacuums.
