Product details
The Skimlite CL815L is a CarbonLite telescopic pool pole with a quick lock lever, extending from 7.5 feet to 15 feet. It is part of the EZ Ship range.
The lock
The quick lock lever is ambidextrous. It can be repositioned to either side of the pole, so the hand you naturally lock and release with is the hand that reaches the lever.
The tubes
Inside, the sections are ten sided rather than round. The decagon profile adds stiffness and, more usefully, keeps the sections from spinning against each other. A round pole twists the moment you lean on a brush or drag a heavy vacuum head, which is exactly when you want the tool to stay square to the surface.
The handgrip comes off at the push of a button. That makes it quick to replace a worn grip, and it opens the end of the pole up for other tool attachments.
