Product details
The Purity Pool Non-Clog Ball is a leaf and debris strainer for the places a normal skimmer basket does not cover. It fits over a diverter valve or threads into the skimmer fitting, and it catches the coarse debris that would otherwise go straight down the line.
Where it earns its place
Skimmers without baskets, skimmers that have been damaged, and the awkward freeform pool skimmers that were never built around a standard basket. In all three cases everything that enters the skimmer travels on to the pump pot and the impeller. The Non-Clog Ball puts a strainer in the path.
The second use
It also works as a guard over a bare suction line. Left open, a suction line will pull a leaf, a toy or a pool cover offcut flat against the opening and choke flow. A ball over the opening keeps the water path clear.
One thing it is not
This is a debris strainer, not a certified anti entrapment outlet cover. If a suction outlet on your pool requires a compliant safety cover, it still requires one.
