Product details

The Purity Pool Pelican Silt Net, part number PCSLT, is built for the fine settled debris on a pool floor rather than for leaves and bulk. It is part of the Purity Pool Pelican range.

Why silt needs its own net

A leaf rake is designed to move volume quickly, and the fine material that settles out after a storm or a heavy pollen week goes straight through it. A silt net is the tool for that layer, which is why service techs carry both rather than treating one as a substitute for the other.

Ordering

Order it as PCSLT. The listing covers the net itself, so use a pole you already have unless you are buying one at the same time.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What is a silt net for?
Fine settled debris. Where a leaf rake is built to move bulk, a silt net is what handles the fine layer that settles on the pool floor.
Does a pole come with it?
This listing covers the net. It does not state that a pole is included, so plan on using a pole you already have or buying one separately.
What part number is it?
PCSLT, from the Purity Pool Pelican line.
Can I use it instead of a leaf rake?
They do different jobs. Keep the leaf rake for leaves and bulk debris and use the silt net for the fine material left behind, and neither one has to work as hard.
