Product details

The Swimline HydroTools 8040 is a heavy duty deep bag pool rake in blue. The deep bag is the point: instead of pushing leaves around with a flat net, you scoop a full load off the pool floor and carry it out in one trip, which means fewer trips to the deck to empty it.

Built for real use

The heavy duty frame and net are made for heavy loads and regular use, so it holds up through a season of fall leaves rather than tearing on the first big pile. The wide mouth takes in larger debris and clears more of the pool per pass, and the whole rake is light enough to work through the water for a long session without wearing you out.

One net for most jobs

Skim the surface, rake the bottom, or use it to clear out the skimmer basket. The blue color is easy to spot in the water and is made not to fade. The rake head fits on your existing pool pole.

Is a pole included?
No. This is the rake head only, for use with your pool pole.
What is the difference between a deep bag rake and a flat skimmer net?
A flat net is for lifting floating debris off the surface. A deep bag rake does that too, but the deep bag lets you scoop and carry a full load of leaves off the pool floor without them spilling back out.
Can I use it on the bottom of the pool?
Yes. The deep bag and wide mouth are designed for scooping leaves and debris from the floor as well as skimming the surface.
How much abuse will it take?
It is the heavy duty model in the HydroTools line, built for heavy loads and regular use. It is not a lightweight economy net.
