Product details

The Skimlite SS4 is a DuraPro series square pocket skimmer net with a 4 inch coarse mesh pocket, built on a plated spring steel frame.

Frame and net

The frame is pure, original plated spring steel designed to resist rust, corrosion and breakage under normal use. The net is adhered to the frame with a patented method, and the frame is wrapped in a protective vinyl tubing that takes the wear from contact with the pool wall and steps.

Where it fits in the DuraPro lineup

The SS4 is the smallest, square pocket entry in the series, sized below the rake style 10 inch SS10 and 16 inch SS16 nets. Its coarse mesh is suited to catching larger leaves and debris quickly during routine skimming.

Care

The vinyl tubing around the frame can be replaced on its own once it wears through, so the whole net does not need to be replaced for that alone.
