The G&P Tools Q-CS1 is a split cord stopper for 3/4 inch conduit, a tapered rubber plug that seals around a pool light cord.
What it is for
Conduit running from a light niche back to the junction box is an open path for water unless the end is plugged around the cord. That is the job this plug does. It is tapered, so pushing it into the conduit squeezes it tight against both the conduit wall and the cord passing through it.
Split, for work on an installed light
This is the retrofit version. It is split down one side so it can be opened around a cord that is already run, which means the fixture stays connected and the cord stays where it is. It carries a single hole, so it suits one cord.
