The Infusion VRFTHLG is a venturi driven return line inlet fitting in light gray. It replaces a standard return fitting in the pool wall.
How a venturi fitting works
A plain eyeball fitting simply aims whatever water the pump pushes through it. A venturi fitting is shaped so that the water leaving the return draws additional pool water in alongside it, which means more water moves for the same pump output. The result is a stronger, more directional stream than the same pump produces through a conventional fitting.
What that changes in the pool
Stronger directional flow reaches the side walls and the floor, disturbing sediment before it has a chance to settle. It also spreads sanitizer through the whole body of water instead of concentrating it near the returns, so the chemicals you add do more of the work. Dirt that stays suspended reaches the skimmer and the filter, which is where you want it.
