The Maytronics 9983119 is the active brush adaptor in size S for the right side of a Dolphin robotic cleaner. It is the genuine factory part.
What it does
The active brush is the piece that actually scrubs, and the adaptor is what holds it on its drive at the end of the roller. When the adaptor wears or splits, the brush no longer sits square. The result is scrubbing that has gone soft on one side, or a brush that walks out of position while the cleaner runs, and it is easy to blame the brush when the small part carrying it is the problem.
