The Maytronics 6350150 is the non return flap for the Dolphin S series robotic pool cleaners. It is the genuine Maytronics part.

What it does
The flap works as a one way door inside the cleaner. Water and debris pass through it toward the filter, and the flap then falls closed so what has been collected cannot wash back out. It matters most at the end of a cycle, when the cleaner is lifted from the water and gravity would otherwise carry the load straight back to the pool.
When to change it
If your Dolphin leaves a cloud of dirt behind as it comes out of the pool, look at the flap first. One that has torn, curled or hardened no longer seals, and it is a small part to put right.
